Ceramic Bowl
How can I remove burnt rice of a ceramic bowl?
Try soaking in hot water, soap, dishwashing and the firing of sodium during the night and scrub with a brush in the morning. Note: If the ceramic is not glazed, the brush can cause a rough appearance. Good luck. :]

Glaze Bowl
I have a bowl that I'm not sure it is safe to eat outside if you have a low glass is safe?
Came in a container in a thrift store ... love design has a low glass table ... Is it safe to eat outside? wanted to use for the size of a soup perfect, but do not know if this can damage my health has anyone else heard of some types bowls and dishes that are not used to eating because they have some type of enamel that can cause health probs? I heard Recently the news, but never mind .... I really appreciate serious comments ... Thank you in advance ...
If the cut was made for decorative purposes ... Do not eat outside. Some of them contain lead or other dangerous. However, if the container has instructions on the bottom as ovensafe, microwave or something you can find on the Internet ... as a mark of all the dishes, etc. I would consider to be made for food preparation. Do not take the chance if you do not know well.

Glaze Vase
an earthen vessel requires 25 grams and 5 ounces of enamel. a clay pot requires 20 oz and 10 oz of paint.?
clay is 500 g and 200 oz available. enamels available. the benefits of onw cup is $ 5 and benefits in a bowl is $ 4
Let v be the number of vessels produced. Wed b the number of container products. I guess you try to maximize profits. The advantage is represented by: 5V + 4b You have several limits. V 0 ≥ b ≥ 0 25v + 20b + 10b 5V ≤ 500 ≤ 200 Figure 4, these inequalities and obtain a region of "sustainability". Find the coordinates of each intersection to find the "corners" of this region. A corner is (0,0), but obviously not to be profitable. Another is (0.20) which leads to a profit of $ 80. Another is (20.0) resulting in a gain of $ 100 is the last intersection of two lines: 25V + 20 B = 500 5v + 10b = 200 times the second equation: B + 20 = 400 = 100V 15V 10V v = 100/15 = 6 2 / 3 So let's try 6 or 7 glasses, and calculate the number of balls. 6 = 150g Jars Departure of Clay enamel 30 oz 350 oz and 170 oz clay enamel -> 7 = 17 bowls 175g jars of clay, glaze 35 oz 325 oz clay Leaving, 165 g of enamel -> 16 bowls Check the following: In the first case (6, 17) who are 30 + 68 = $ 98 In the second case (7, 16), which will 35 + 64 = $ 99 None of these vases to do: Answer: Do 20 vessels to maximize profits.

Blue Glaze
Is there a relatively inexpensive way to try dishes to determine if the enamel contains lead?
I found a really beautiful Porcelain Jar. Part exterior color of the pot with 2 normal circular thin blue lines for decoration. I want to use the vessel for water drinking iced tea, etc. There is no sign of potters at the bottom, but I am convinced that the product is manufactured in the U.S. The enamels were applied in a single layer.
I suppose you want to test non-destructive, so you still have the launcher after the test. There are 2 tools that I know what to say the question: Ray Fluorescence Analysis of energy dispersive X. The XRF is the best method because it is very flexible coupling, some units also arranged for a handgun, so put the muzzle to the part to be analyzed, pull the trigger, and the display shows the analysis Basic in seconds! It's kind of my company decided to make this year, which allows us to quickly analyze metals we buy. Other instruments are less flexible coupling, it may take some trickery. EDS is usually part of an electron microscope scanning, and the difficulty is that these devices typically have small cameras, you may be unable to adapt his pottery in the SEM. But if you can either file a shave at the bottom, or adjust the cap on the SEM, then you will get preliminary information accurate. We come now the "low cost". Each of these devices have almost 0 marginal cost analysis, and I mean that there is no consumption, chemicals, while what you have to pay. The trick is to find someone with one of these instruments will be available to check your dishes. Then you have friends who work in industry laboratory or a hospital or a university with a metal / Chemistry / Department of Dentistry? Ask around, you never know who might know someone who has access to Good Luck!

Porcelain Sake
Where to buy a good strong cup?
Ok, me and my girlfriend loves everything that is in Asia. I support this, since it has never been a problem. But today, his birthday, but he wants a pumpkin, a bottle or similar receptacle on foot. For those of you who do not know not what I'm talking about: Sake, Wine is a kind of Japanese ... I have no idea where to get one! All I saw was very low, with just cups, and porcelain. I need a certain size Medium to large it can take a beating, and must be able to keep the liquid inside! Mentioned earlier, you like the style of pot Auron from Final Fantasy 10 (video game) before. Ideas? The closest I have an Asian market is one of those small store that sells a lot of Korean fish and sweets.
Try this first: This is my favorite http://www.asianfoodgrocer.com/ online retailer of Japanese products (and I need a job that no longer live in California). As I learned in university courses Japanese culture a pair of cups are out of luck in Japan, it provides an even number of cups are made for the U.S. market. California has the highest standards food security in the country, and the articles must pass the tests of the strictest security (not the lead in the glaze, clear glaze toxic, etc. ..) Try also the opportunity, they www.worldmarket.com a style of Japanese products in its inventory (Asia Research). He has a great search engine good.
